Fimo air light is serious fun!

I bought a packet of 'Fimo Air Light' just before Christmas

and have been experimenting with it over the holidays.

There are three things I really like about it...

a) it is really light once it is dry

b) you can dry it in the microwave in 10 minutes

c) you can sand it to get beautifully smooth surfaces

I really want to use it as a surface for my illustrations so I create small to medium simple shapes.

It is perfect for these but I feel it would be difficult

to get clearly defined details in a more intricate clay design.

Oh! I just remembered a 'number 4' of why I really like Fimo Air Light! It is white already so I don't need any primer or undercoat.
